\nyou may just stroll down any street in urban America, or enter any suburbia, and you will see how urban fashion clothing is common out there, When the hip-hop artists and rappers came to popularity, they set their own trendy line of clothes and it became a standard for urban street clothing. These were characterized by oversized shirts, pants, and accessories such as caps and large gold necklaces.

\nThe popularity of hip-hop culture continued in the late 80s with Black Nationalism becoming a common theme. This decade was highlighted by hairstyles that reflected traditional African influences. It also saw designs that incorporated heavy accessories, such as gold chains on black leather jackets or heavy, padlocked silver chains on long black dresses for the women.
\n<div>The uniqueness of urban street-wear clothing is depicted in every urban t-shirt that comes out of the brands factory. Companies have created their own designs that are loosely based on sports such as cycling and skateboarding, in order to target the youth culture. The common urban t-shirt is designed to become both fashionable and comfortable.<\/div>

Often, the trends of the past make their way back into the present, The hip-hop fashion style faced some changes during it’s history. Every generation saw a significant difference in style from the previous generations. The 80s marked the start of fashionable sportswear. Famous hip-hop icons wore brightly colored name branded tracksuits, leather bomber jackets, and sneakers that had oversized laces. Accessories such as wide-rimmed sunglasses, belt buckles, and heavy jewelry were used during this era.<\/div>
\nCassette shoes are another mark of urban street fashion style. A casual type of shoe that is comfortable, flat but supportive and traditionally laced up to keep them from falling off your foot.
